  Title: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel, 24-Week, Adaptive Design Phase 2 Study of Three Different Doses of an Alpha-7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor Agonist (EVP-6124) or Placebo in Subjects with Mild to Moderate Probable Alzheimer's Disease

  Summary  
 
 
  Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive condition that affects areas of the brain involved in memory, cognition, judgment, language and behavior. The Research Study is being conducted in order to determine the safety and efficacy of three different doses of an experimental drug in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.  
   
  How Can You Qualify?  
 
 
  The researchers at Princeton Medical Institute are seeking men and women 50 – 85 years old. Participants must have a family member or caregiver who can attend appointments during study visits. Other criteria for eligibility will be discussed with interested persons, without obligation, when calling the telephone number listed below. All study related visits, laboratory work, study medication, and all study related procedures including physical exams are provided at no cost. Qualified participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
